According to the official WAEC timetable for 2026 in Nigeria, the exams officially begin in late April with practicals and language orals, with core written subjects like Mathematics kicking off in June.
How are they going to write WAEC in 2026?+
Despite rumors online, the May/June 2026 WASSCE for school candidates is still heavily a Paper-and-Pencil Test (PPT) format, especially for theory and practicals. Some objective sections may utilize customized OMR shading sheets. It is not fully CBT like JAMB.
